The whitetail deer hunting property here in Northern Oklahoma is extremely diverse which allows each deer hunting blind placement to be unique in its setting. From rolling hills, oak trees throughout, brushy draws, creeks, drainages, and large open fields for food plots, it is a little slice of trophy whitetail heaven.

At Riverbend, your Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunt will take place out of box blinds, ground blinds, or spot and stalk. Food plots and feeders dot the landscape to assist in getting whitetail deer in range. At Riverbend Trophy Whitetails we make sure to accommodate each person and cater to your level of hunting, so your hunt is exactly what you are looking for.

Deer Hunting at Riverbend Trophy Whitetails

You will start out the first deer hunting morning with a light breakfast: something like danish, cereal, toast, juice, and coffee. We leave about 1 hour before sunrise and whitetail hunt until mid-morning and then back to the hunting lodge. After our return we go to work taking care of any harvested game, and you enjoy a full course breakfast.

After breakfast, there does not need to be any down time as we can keep you busy all day or simply retire back to your room and catch a nap before our afternoon trophy deer hunt. A big lunch early afternoon and we are ready to go afield again for the afternoon hunt. Usually out until just after sunset and back for a "loosen your belt" kind of dinner.

Our Whitetail Deer Hunting Season in Oklahoma

Whitetail Deer Hunting season here in Oklahoma runs from September until the end of December but our preserve starts August 15th, and we allow only 2 trophy velvet buck hunts per year for some of our biggest trophy whitetail deer. High Temperatures can run from 80’s in September to 40’s in December with bursts of highs or lows all over this range.

Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting Conditions

It is best to contact us prior to your arrival and get current weather and future predictions so you can pack the appropriate gear for the temperatures and time of year you will be whitetail deer hunting. We also maintain UTV’s that are equipped with heat and A/C for your comfort travelling to and from your stand.

Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunting Blind in Oklahoma

The shooting range will be available to make sure your guns are sighted in when you arrive. We offer Crossbow, Muzzle loading Rifle, and Rifle whitetail hunts throughout the season. The Muzzleloader and rifle hunts will average 100-to-200-yard shots depending on the terrain. Riverbend understands that everyone’s preferred whitetail deer hunting weapon is different, so we want you to use whatever fulfills the challenge for you. Just let us know what your weapon of choice is, and we will accommodate you to the best of our ability.

The recommended Whitetail Hunting Gear you should be bringing is as follows:

A good Camo for Spot and Stalk Whitetail Deer Hunting
Black or darker upper clothing for ground blinds and box stands
One weapon, possibly two in case of a failure in your primary weapon
Minimum of 40 rounds of ammunition (minimum caliber is .243)
Comfortable pair of hunting boots
Binoculars, 10x magnification or higher
Range Finder
Emergency rain poncho (always handy to have)
Possibly a ThermaCell for September hunts
Good no scent soap and deodorant
Wash clothing in a non-UV brightener and no-scent soap like “Sport Wash” available at Amazon

All-Inclusive Oklahoma Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunt Packages

All our Trophy Whitetail Deer Hunt Packages are private to your group or hunting party. We like to keep our deer hunts to a maximum of four hunters so we can pay more attention to each hunter to increase your success rates. Riverbend Trophy Whitetails will accommodate larger hunting parties on a hunt-by-hunt basis depending on game animal and time of year. Youth whitetail deer hunts are always welcome, and we provide discounts, please contact us for details. Single whitetail hunters are always welcome, but dates are limited. Please call us directly to discuss larger groups, needs, and discounts offered throughout the year.

The Riverbend Trophy Whitetails No Kill, No Pay Guarantee: If you do not wound an animal or pass on an animal that we know is the caliber you are looking for then you will owe us just a small fee for lodging and meals. Our promise is simply to give you what you expect and more.

Before hunting in the preserve please purchase your Oklahoma Deer Hunting License online and review the Oklahoma Deer Hunting Regulations. Purchase a resident license or if you are a nonresident then you can get the 5 day nonresident license. All game harvested within the preserve will get a tag while traveling, and while the meat is being processed until you get home.

Non whitetail deer hunting guests are always welcome if we have the room. A nominal fee of $135/day per non-hunting guest is required.

A deposit of 50% of the hunt is required to secure your Whitetail Deer Hunting Package reservation dates. We accept all major credit cards and provide a detail of your hunt with your receipt. Deposits are non-refundable but, in the event, you cannot come for your scheduled dates, and you notify us at least thirty (30) days prior to your arrival date, we do allow rescheduling up to 12 months from your prior scheduled whitetail hunt dates.

We understand that not all shots are perfect, and we will always do our best to recover your whitetail. It is the guides choice of when to call a search quits and deem a deer lost. If you draw blood or hair after your shot, and we cannot find the wounded game we will have to consider that animal to be expired or going to expire and you will be responsible for full payment.
